Defoliation

You've taken the active growth off and left the leafs isn't that back to front defoliating?

Or are you try to grow it tall, whatever your aim is your holding the plant back, defoliating should only be selective especially at that age/height.

Left it too late, and too much residual growth has been left on the plant to achieve true Giga Chad yields. Would have been better off waiting until the 7th or 8th node and topping it directly above the cotyledons to bathe happily in the Benefits of minor defoliation.

I don't understand severe defoliating at 2 weeks olds... Wtf is it about?
When I tie plants over I'll get a few leafs covering multiple growing tips and I'll not hesitate to remove them.
That aside I'm looking to keep as many light collecting, food storing, gas exchanging, temperature controlling, energy making leafs as possible :-)

The leafs are hanging 2/3rds down the pot I sure can't think of a reason to remove them.
