Dehumidifier water really low pH. ??

I tested my dehumidifier water just now and WTH!! Ph was 4! Confirm with drops. Blood red. What gives?

Really...never used one, but seems like it would vary based on the % in the air and where it comes from

Mine always tests low like that as well, never thought it was a thing. Only tested it to see if I could reuse it lol

I hear of people using the water

But to me, seems like lots of air quality crap would be in it

Well it has been sitting collecting for a while,il clean it and check the new stuff.

Didn't seem to have much in it, I tested the ppm as well and believe is was under 20. Still, who knows what that is. lol. I didn't use it because it was low ph and I'd have to adjust anyway, so I stuck with my RO. If anything I will recycle it into the humidifier sometimes, but usually just keep a 5 gal bucket nearby that I dump into.
