Did you have much blight or mold at your location? We fought early blight all summer, regularly sprayed and defoliated crappy leaves on many plants etc., but it was always lurking. The 11 roses resisted most of the year but we had an apple tree we couldn't do anything about that was a blight factory, kicking spores our way all summer. I may have convinced the owner to let me prune and spray it next year.

We did manage to salvage about half of this years 11 roses, so it wasn't all bad. Initial tests and smoke seems good so far. This plant was harvested in stages. Tops in earlier October and the rest maybe October 12 -14th at a little shy of 44N. Interesting that yours finished in late September. That's what originally attracted me to the strain was that possibility.

I may pop the remaining seeds next year as I'm still on the fence with the strain, and can't blame any strain for not performing if their were external factors involved. The info in your post has been helpful, thanks.

No blight but mold was a big problem this year. I had more mold the first of September than I have mid-October some years. I lost approx 5-10% on my SBR and 11 Roses but it likely would have been worse had I not managed it. I had two other strains that were 95% and 50% loss, respectively…so the Delicious strains faired well, all things considered. The yield, pheno stability, pest/mold resistance and potency seems to be very good. Cured terps weren’t my favourite as I like more gas/chem but the smoke is very good and anyone who’s sampled my bud really enjoys both strains. To each their own when it comes to terp preference. For some reason, I honestly expected nothing more than mids but these plants exceeded my expectations. I’ve learned not to pass judgment until after drying/curing. In a blind taste test, EVERY one of my chronic friends picked the 11 Roses as the best over the other strains. I’ve never grown a mix of strains where the favourite was unanimous.

I agree with Rurumo. Delicious seems to have worked their lines…which is evident in their lack of new drops. You may find a better plant with some of the newer breeders (pollen chuckers in a lot of cases) but when I’m investing 6 months into a limited plant grow, I want to have some idea of what to expect at the finish line and Delicious seems to offer that. I’m going to run some Ethos and In House along with a couple Delicious strains next run…will see how a $25 seed compares to an $8 seed. I’d rather pick from a selection of a dozen solid, worked strains than roll the dice on the Instagram cross of the week…but I’m also a sucker for nice bud porn so I’ll try anything once. LOL

Problem with a limited plant count is growing singles of any strain…could be a winner…could be a loser. I’m not chasing unicorns and running multiple packs of the same strain to accomplish that. This is where running stabilized gear like Delicious is advantageous.

Keep in mind it favours a main central cola so doesnt really train well with topping, even when topped itll still try to put all energy into one branch. The others stil go ok just nowhere near as big as the main one. Very woody branches. Very vigorous and large i mean huge leaves and buds. Really Stands out in the tent among other strains. Fades to a beautiful deep purple. Very frosty. Better suited to SOG. Narcotic stone. Super tolerant strain hard to burn, stupidly easy to grow. Loves food. Very stable genetics not much pheno variation.
Big fat pinecones with a floral DMT type smell. Very relaxing weed. Definitely would grow again but gave all my 11r seeds to a friend to start him. Was my fav DS strain along with Deep Mandarin. Black Sugar Rose was great too but they definitely did better with eleven roses. Very solid signature strain.

Cheese Candy by Delicious is soooo good. You can smell the cheese and taste the candy... like a sharp cheddar with a peppermint. DELICIOUS!!

Just placed first order with Delicious Seeds ,Delicious Candy,Fruity Chronic Juice ,Eleven Roses and some Marmalate all female strains , should be here approx 2 -3 weeks - looking forward to these beans ..

Has anyone grown Golosa? I only popped one for my outdoor grow and was surprised to see the dark purple branches/stems. Wondering if anyone else has seen this variation with the strain.

I grew their cotton candy fem outdoors, it was bloody amazing, the buds were the size of my arm! Dense huge sticky buds and they literally smelt like candy. And in the photo below, that isn't the main top, there's one behind it as well because i topped it
