Dense buds??

On day 45 of flower any tips on how to get dense buds up towards the end ?? I always produce less dense buds with not alot of smell to the bud
Whatever you do, don't panic and use a pgr like paclo (paclobutrazol). That shite will give you large dense buds (you could break a window with a sling shot) that taste like ass (and not a well washed and young one).

Don't use it. Even if you are selling, nobody will want it.

Yes you have put things into perspective here I have done 4 grows in total which is nothing... and I must of chopped every single one early. Its waiting them extra 2-3 weeks when they look completely done... patience I see is massive! I am going to let these drop to the floor before I chop them, thanks everybody for your help and advice !! Much love peeps. U.k
I agree with that. A lot of error is from chopping early. Totally go a little longer and buds will fatten for sure. I also mix molasses in water and feed to my plants. I did that with my outdoor last summer. Noticed some good results. But was also outdoor with some real hot sun.

I let a plant go so long it got so fat it molded, now I let the plants go til right before that "look" then cut. It's something you'll have to go through. But if you start getting random crispy leaves coming from inside the buds.... Cut that bitch asap IMO

Lol well don't let them drop to the floor, use some supports to hold the extra weight :). I've watched strong branches bend over in only 2-3 days during those last few weeks while the plant is packing on weight(density).

You are not going to get big buds just by dumping overpriced products on your plants.

Light
Environment
Genetics
Patience

Not necessarily in that order.

Crap in a bottle is not even on the list of things needed.
Oh definitely this is the first time I've used enhancers and boosters ect.. my humidity and temperature is to a TEE. Tents in an open room so co2 isnt a problem, I always keep below 40 rh in flower, reservoir is as a steady temperature too..

And in ashamed to say this but I have NEVER used an EC pen in my life and this is my 5th grow.. only ever ph I know Its stupid and I need to invest in one

The good thing is your here to make sure you take it when its ready.
The weight gained and higher quality product is well worth the extra time.

I know people in UK who've been growing for decades and still chop way early because they don't know any better and grew up on bad info like 8weeks veg 8 weeks flower and chop!

What do you guys think then still like 3 weeks off? The icy pheno is literally got hardly any leaves on now, will it still be growing ?
Yep you got it, probably about 3ish. It’s starting to show the signs of maturity I told you about. You can see many more red stigma this week, so it’s headed in the right direction.

Don’t worry much about the dead leaves the plant looks like it’s still growing ok since it’s progressing. It’s possible he progress would have happened faster if it had been fed and kept healthier though.

I don’t know what your previous plants were like or remember what your environment is like, but make sure since the buds on these are large and thick that you keep an eye out for mold. I spent 10+ years growing in basements, and it was always important to be vigilant about it with large cola plants.

It's in a bedroom with an open window, temps are 23 with lights on 19 lights off my humidity never goes above 45%... big extractor and a pretty decent Inline fan, got 2 big oscillating fans so airflow is great, Would there still be a chance of mold ?
