Denver ~ Colorado

It's crazy, I meet people who have lived here their whole lives and don't know how to drive in the snow. I've lived in a lot of states, and I know it's cliche to say people from X state can't drive, but it seems like drivers in CO are especially bad for some reason. I've been trying to figure it out since I've moved here....

Most of the poor snow driving is from out of state transplants. Pre rec/med drivers were a different story. Not to talk shit but we have had a TON of Cali and TX transplants that cannot drive in the snow.

True, I like in the Springs so a lot more of a transient city than anywhere else, I'm sure that contributes to the poor driving.

For shits and giggles, go take a drive on the south end of Academy where it meets 85/87 at 830 in the morning ..or even the 1st fountain exit heading south near the Loves and Gate 20 at Fort Carson ..... those are our contributing factors as to why Colorado springs blows ass

Hopefully when all is said and done for me I'll be able to just hold up in my little house in San Luis and grow for 3-4 months over winter and not leave

That would ruin my day to do either of those things, the driving/traffic here (which shouldn't even be traffic most of the time but is traffic because people are just so horrible at driving, I call them Colorado traffic jams) makes me rage sometimes. I've had to work on my anger, but I also try not to leave my little pocket over here on the west side if I don't have to. Fort Carson is a beast though, no doubt about that

That was seriously what I was wanting to say. I have about 3 neighbors on my side of the road, and about 2000 acres that belongs to no one. If we get a few like minded people together... Anything more should probably happen over messaging. But I was definitely thinking a small "community" of a few of my friends....

We got quite a crew going in here...

Colorado is the state of creation, color, restoration, renewal, and furthur freedom.
Lots of weed smoke, grassroots hats, wire wrapped jewelry, red rocks parking lot, tye dye t shirts...

Jump on the band wagon.
You may forgotten creativity itself- and imagination, without which none of the rest of these may exist (except maybe the tshirt). Fortunately, Colorado has both in plentiful supply!

I am rarely in the Springs due to its political division and vibes.
It is such a gorgeous place though.
Wish the Military acedemy and "focus on the family" didnt exist.
