They are in in pots but way to large and heavy to move. Quite a few fan leaves are turning yellow and as they die I have been removing them from the plants. I water in the evenings and have them on a complete Fox Farm Nutrient regimen since the grow began. All was fine until this high humidity moved into the area, temps. running into the 110 and humidity to 30% make the desert like a dam sauna . The plants are all the same strain Vanilla Kush and all have been growing great , bushy with plenty of flower growth. So far none of the tops have yellowed just some water leaves. SymetreAre they in pots or in the ground? Signs of heat stress to look for are your leaves pointing straight up individually or folding up like a taco.. If that starts to happen you should place in partial shade and give it a swig on H2O.
You think that need a crane I have your beat by a few feet. One question Have you lost any water leaves due to the extreme hot weather?? Some of mine have turned yellow and I have taken them off the plants as they died. Symetreno dont mist.. run the chance of mold.
I have never misted my plants.. and I live in SO cen Valley.. temps this week are in the low 110's
water the ladies daily.. I have too
(eta) I do keep an umbrella out for them during the hottest times 4-7pm they are getting indirect light and dont seem to mind
thinking if I misted I might need a small crane.. lol

turns out its an Indica dominant strain, so you need to be extra careful as indicas are not meant for high heat situations..
Yea I quit misting and I am just deep watering with this weather. I have two plants starting to flower and the other four are a few weeks slower the way I planned it. I hate to try and harvest all at one time because I'm the only one sitting there manicuring and making the buds pretty.!!!! The rest of my family just watch and keep asking "Is it ready yet" LAZY SUCKERS SymetreHey, Symetre. Palm Springs area as well. No longer growing due to child now, but thinking of a guerrilla grow. Have fun, man! PS, I wouldn't mist w/ this humidity. Are your babies starting to flower already?
These plants grow in the deserts and the foothills of Northern India and Pakistan, where the temps either meet or exceed this area. I have never had any problems with any indica that I have grown in this area before, all was fine untill a few weeks ago???? I blame it on the weather. SymetreSo I looked up your strain Vanilla Kush.. turns out its an Indica dominant strain, so you need to be extra careful as indicas are not meant for high heat situations..
You can also mist in the early morning before a hot day. I usually stop spraying 2-3 weeks in flower when the pistils really start packing on... haven't got pmOp its good to mist your plants at sundown after a very hot day
It usually cools down by then anyhow and they need it less. I think my plants really enjoy misting and foliar feeding. You can also mist in the early morning before a hot day. I usually stop spraying 2-3 weeks in flower when the pistils really start packing on
He could mist all day with his temps and PM won't survive. You can also mist in the early morning before a hot day. I usually stop spraying 2-3 weeks in flower when the pistils really start packing on... haven't got pm
Yeah.....Some of my plants fan leaves start going yellow on days that are 105+......It's only a few fan leaves......doesn't really make an impact when you have a lot of them.........Your plants will pull through the heat......I started watering everyday when it hit 108+ and it made matters worse.....the plants started to droop showing signs of over watering.......the best thing you could do is get them under some shade cloth if you canThese plants grow in the deserts and the foothills of Northern India and Pakistan, where the temps either meet or exceed this area. yeah......I believe there is something going on at my rootzone......possibly pests.......I keep mine watered and heavily mulched but it doesn't seem to help......They have learned to deal with it though lol......one of them has grown 4 feet since I put her in the ground. The vanilla Kush pheno i have is in full sun with no issue, I keep it heavily watered.....
nice i love seeing them blow up, i have been using piranha, tarantula, voodoo juice, sensizyme, and great white; my roots should be as deep and wide as a pine tree lol....yeah......I believe there is something going on at my rootzone......possibly pests.......I keep mine watered and heavily mulched but it doesn't seem to help......They have learned to deal with it though lol......one of them has grown 4 feet since I put her in the ground.
