DGD- Coco & Hydro-Mutli strain grow 2013--SSH/CHEESE/GSOGxKD/SAGExLMX and more

Heres the setup:
8 light room 600watts
16ltr rhizo air pots x 29
canna coco
vitalink coco grow +bloom
vitalink bio+

4 light tent 600watts (hydro)

Vitalink max grow+ bloom
and the same as the above

Strains: cuts
Cheese cuts form 3 different sources , La confidental , Lemon haze
Seeds:

Super Silver Haze -Mr nice ,Sage x Lemon cheese -one of my mixes and Grapestomper og x kandydrop- Gen
I did start some engineers dream and ak x kali with these but the aks didn't make it out the jiffys and the only fem ed was stunted and small so got binned. Any weak or poor smelling plants got binned before i repotted thats why the numbers are so low.

Back into it ,same 90ltrs bubblers" brummie bubbler" minus the drip rings and im now using some rhizo pots with coco .I've heard good things about these pots so i thought id give them a try. The seedlings are roughly 6/7weeks old , i just took cuts off them before they were put into the rhizo pots,the cuts are various ages and sizes ,i've had some of the cuts under my cfls for about a 2weeks i've got more cuts coming in for the tent and more for the room . Plus i've got some more seeds in paper towels at the moment -Sunshine daydream (bodhi) (got the most requests next to the engineers dream) Trainwreck(BCO)- AK47 x Kali mist (HomeB)-Spice (mr nice)-Flying hammer(GageGG) & Pyscho killer "footsy" (BreedersB), this selection was mainly made by a friend i gave him free choice as i find it hard chosing just a few out of so many seeds ,and im still look into adding more fire to the bank to make it even harder ..Strain hunting is addictive crossing plants even more , i keep thinking of mad crosses to make.. found it hard to get rid of some the males i ,i only kept 2 x ssh and 2 x sage x lmc. The ssh's are for F2s as that was my last lot of seeds and mr nice anit cheap..one's more stronger smelling than the other and the other has closer node spacing looks more compact.. One of the SG X lmc smells so sagey its crazy its going to be crossed to the best female sg xlmc . These will be done with the next round of cuts of these strains as i want to see how everything grows with out the seed making slowing down any thing.

Plus i have a another box room to set up for vegging ,theres still a few tweaks to be made hear and there but mainly every things got to go just didnt have enough cuts coming in, i lost a few links that used to be regular so i've had to circulate in a few diiferent people.. nearly ended up with spidermites cause of it..pyth e.c works wonders ..

Thanks man .. i got my hands full i know but its all workable , i wish i had more room
yeah the lights with ballast attached are funny looking ,i think they should of had a diamond refelctor or a standard awing type.I seen someone replace the reflector but i cant remember where it was ..The guy spun to us so he'll be hearing back from me if theres any bad news,they are light but not light enough for them ez rollers i think , there all hanging by green wire now. Im thinking there going to need to be higher than normal to get a good enough spread,or even less pots maybe 1 per light . with a decent scrog...

Oh yeah.. congrats on getting the dog kush up in the hightimes , i see they found out how strong it really is ..nice bud there i prefered my first pheno still..
So much cheese's i've lost count exo ,suicide,big buddah, i've had most in here think ..always a feature around these parts ..its like the safety net of the growing in da uk,imo..

lol @ the cheese safety net so true,,, everyone loves some cheesy buds,, and the yields arnt bad either.

I wish I was closer to ya,cause id sure be asking to use them right now......I still think you should do maybe one lil dwc,with teas...just to see.i know I been getting some ok yields doin it.

Gen what type of tea are you brewing for the hydro? i used a mix of guano before and molasses with out too much problems before. Did you snap any of them finished seeds ? feel free to post them up you have pics.

Got some snaps of the sage x's .. i can see a few phenos coming through, the darker sharp leaf ones smelling more cheesey than any thing else,the tallest have the sage mother scents and the lighter one smells different to the others ..

Forgive my ignorance, but what's the deal with tea in hydro? I have heard of it before but thought it was just to control root rot or something. How do you incorporate it into the mix? When I run my tubes I fill the rez on sunday and put in nutes, then top off throughout the week with water only... re do it again the next sunday. How would I mix the tea in... without nutes? I'm getting ready to set my hydro back up this week.

only tea I use is xtreme tea(compost brew)...1 pouch makes 3gal concentrate,i add 1 red solo cup to 5gal of water,along with grow big(hydro)+calimagic+rapid start+sub culture-M..i just did a DWC with aroud 85% tea,and it did real well...and I think I only did one rez change.

Update..

The plants from seed are doing ok ,the smaller cuts seem to be lagging behind abit in growth. I like what i can see so far from the sage x lemon cheese's ,from the 8 remaining females you can see some good variation theres 2 distinct sages with strong odours too , theres 1 strong cheesey odour plant with darker leaves, and the rest seem like hybrids- slightly lemon/fruity/ odours and 1 without any odours at all.. The sage ones are what i was originally looking for in these now there might be a a decent hybrid too which is a bonus.. . from the looks of things i haven't even got a haze pheno from my super silver hazes there looking more skunk#1 and NL than haze , not that i mind either of them but i was looking for haze when i bought them,thinking 18 seeds was more than enough to donate out and save a few for later ... I guess its just a luck game if you anit putting in more than 10 a time .. even though i've got some good plants from just a few seeds i'll be doing alot more from now on..

Anyway ,been building a dripper system to for these rhizo pots, its not quite finished yet forgot a few bits ,should make things speed up abit in here .Im still waiting on more cuts from another grower but as my cuts have started to take root already these might be in here instead. The big plants may get moved to the tent as i think they need to be flowering in in the next few days plus the drip system wouldn't be suitable from all plants as they vary in age .. The hydro may be shifted in to the last room .. Im just trying too figure out a few things concerning airflow and electrics.. either way by this time next week you'll know what ive choosen..

Seems like the seed gods are playing with me, a whole bunch of un popped trainwreck,couple flying hammers, and couple sunshine daydreams that turned too mush plus only one spice popped..grrrr.. changed up the spot where they where being kept as im guessing temps must be an issue as it the same water,cups everything.. got a few more in Jack herrer(sensi seeds), jack the ripper(tga) and Double deth (gooey breeder)...

Them roots do look healthy so i guess it cant be too bad , i'd try it out in single pots but anything circulating i'd leave it out..
Havent seen that product before so i'll check it out ..

I ran the drip system and its working fine had a minor leak but its sorted out now, had a lot of water shooting out the pots too had to sort that out aswell its all trial and error but so far so good.
Had it on two feeds lights on and 2hrs before lights off that left to much run off so i switched it to one now when lights turn on. The young ones were fed first with a lower strengh then turned off by the tap and then i left the others on the timer with a full strength . I just happens that the room is sloped towards the front so none of the left side gets any run off. I've since topped up the res with fresh water about 3/4's and have now turned on all taps as the food at a lower strength now.. its not ideal but it'll work for now.

Decided not to move the large ones they're just going to get vegged longer than planned which isn't a bad thing , probably need to top some of them Sage x lemon cheeses again .
Plants are looking healthy , they suffered from a low ph feed when they were first fed as i forgot to add ph up to the res and this vitalink coco food lowers it to about 4.5 so theres slight damage on some plants ,the Grapestomper og x candy drop and one of the Sage x lemon cheeses are were the worst affected but they've picked back up .

Started on the hydro now.. There will be moved around there just like this till they root some plus it saves me putting all 4 lights on at the start.
I made this drip system with 2 pumps cause i had 2 of them pumps from something else and piping and bits left over from the other one i made, i would of got a bigger pump if this was the original plan. Its not recirculating even tough that would be easier, i plan on dumping whats in the first tub(uncovered).. im thinking about it tough ..
I have it on 2 5min feeds at the moment..any thoughts?



These are a few cuts from the big room as i've given up waitin on the other cuts .. people trying to slow me down not knowing i already prepare for this kind shit.. Its like i get lots of indirect hating since i heads knew i was looking certain strains again .. why..

Anyway got cuts of everything now from the main room , some just got put in the prop today ..Looks like the haze cut i got went into reveg mode somehow.. some how i labelled two of the sages the same #4 .. don't know how.. ones Sage leaning haze and the other lemon cheese hybrid .. Any way i took fresh cuts and there now #4 & 4.1 just for reference.. Also got some fresh pollen off a SSH male and Sage x lemon cheese both are early shooters as the other two still have tiny balls.. trim em down and stored pollen for later date..

Plants are doing ok they have a lockout of some sort , not sure if its the cal-mag or the ata xl which i added in the last two res changes. Not all plants are showing the same affects but they don't look as healthy as the could be. I've cut out those to products for the time being and will be flushed tomorrow.
Hydro's coming on too should have roots in the water real soon, i should of put some taps in the bottom of these tubs makes emptying them easier.. i might make a few mods still..

Sage x lemon cheese ' Haze' pheno's are stretching out now not all the same though i can see two that want to go all over the place, long ass arms and there the ones that have been topped .#11's more together and#10 but is quite tall ,its been bent over numerous times already.. these two look like a good plants to work with out of the four haze pheno's in here.
The lemon cheese /hybrid phenos are filling out too they have some stocky stems , they're looking similar in structure but slightly different at the same time..

Anyway i've moved them about switched on another light so theres now seven hps running now the last one might not get used this run..
And i've flipped the switch on theses so the count down begins.. some will of had only 2 wks veg (clones)and others 4-6-7 veg from seed.

Got some good feed back from some fine farmers on here about the cheese x lemon cheese so im going to give them a run and i might aswell look into the ?ch x lmc see if theres anything to be found..

Got some good feedback on the pk x heri x lemon cheese too(these were/are freebies with purchases from BB ), seen some of the outdoor pics taken in cali i believe and it does look good .. even got itself a name Killer cheese pie -209cali rocked it .. shout out to Dst on the pk x heri still .. got a pack left so they'll be pushed up the list.

Got quite a few seeds too ..... flying through the air like jordan .. Greendreairlines for greenfingers everywhere .. " all are welcome aboard"..
