diatomaceous earth??

I'm just wondering can anyone please give me advice on the best way to apply to my girls /outdoor 100gal smartpots thanks

You could top dress your pots with the DE but be careful as too much can compact and cause a very dense sludge like paste once watering is done.

I also read you can mix 4 tablespoons with a gallon of water and spray the plants. Now as far as the above is concerned.... I am wondering if you could use one of those hand fertilizing tools.... the DE may be too fine for the unit, but if it were lined with a cheese cloth or something it may work. That said I am using the 1 gallon of water and 4 tbsp of DE and spraying.
