Dictate 1st grow skunk #1 hydro STEALTH CLOSET need suggestions [pics]

ugh im looking at my pics compared to other people's first grow around the same time period. sooo many mistakes i had damnit....... I should have done soil my first time. Am i supposed to have the drippers directly into the hydrton? or is it ok like i got it ? damn that nute burn really screwed my plants up the one pic in the middle is the one with all the roots(whole bunch in the resevoir) . Are these plants gonna be able to produce anything worth it with these nute burns all over? what else can cause the tips of the plants to become burned? all i know is I may have had the light a few inches too close. What about c02 def? maybethere are still nutes from the first week? i scrubbed the hell out fo the resevoir..,..... ugh help me out wanna have a smooth opersation from now till harvest.

From the looks of your plants it appears you've used way too much nutes or had the light way too close or both.

as long as you have fresh air blowing around there won't be a CO2 deficiency. If I were you I'd place the lights far enough away as to not make them warm and just use regular properly pH'ed water for about a week and see what happens. They may get worse before they get better but at this point - what do you have to lose?

you're using a 400w MH - right - make sure that thing is at least 15" away from the tops of your plants (for now).

thanks email - i looked into your PPP grow . How is PPP im thinking about going with either this or the femmed white widow nirvana has. Yea my next grow should be perfect. I havent used any nutes since the second week so its been about a week and a half on strait PHed water. They do look at lot better(before they had yellow spots everywhere now just the tip are yellow burned) but that browning burn on the bigger leaves tips had to be from the light. Hopefully ill figure this out.

you will and i know you don't want to hear this but you really are going to learn from your mistakes. and if your first grow went really well - you wouldn't be ready when things go south on your next grow.

I really like PPP - it is very cerebral, up, soaring kind of high - very much a sativa - but it does get tall and matures slowly.

pretty sure i found my problem and email i think you could help me with it. My pH was not being check daily . i check the pH yesterday and it was 7.7!!! i added 3 teasp of pH down and now its down to 5.3. That hasto be a big problem along with the nute burns! lol i learned so much this time around. Im going to start flowering early turning on my hps for 12 hours a day. Should i clip these yellow leaves off? ordering snow white fem. seeds from nirvana as i speak as well to get my second grow under way!

if the leaves are completely dead, you can clip them off. Be aware they will most likely never turn green again or even look better. It is new growth you want to focus on.

Yes - pH swings can and will cause both nute burn and nute deficiencies. The nutrients should buffer pH enough to keep it from swinging wildly -- so if your pH is really going up and down - it is an indicator of a larger problem.
