Came home from work today to find that my little one went all droopy, looks like heat stress to me. But to correct the problem what i did was drain 1 and a half gallons from my DWC and added back in straight ph balanced cool water to lower the water temp that was at 74 degrees it is not sitting at 70 degrees and dont want to drop it anymore tonight as not to shock the root system. Also the temp of the hydroton and her top is 83 degrees. As for lights i have 4 23w 6500K cfl and 2 23w 5000K cfl sitting at 6-8 inches away. It was fine the last couple days and this morning, the only thing i can think of is the temp went really high when my girlfriend was cooking dinner as the closet is maybe 15 feet away from the kitchen (we live in a small apartment). Did i take the right corrective measures to help it get back on track?

P.S. I know about the burnt out leaves at the bottom, i corrected that. You can check out my journal to see

To be honest with you i dont think I would put a seedling directly into hydroton.grow it in something else first like a root riot some kind of happy medium. that thing could grow up and fall over.Ps your hydroton looks dry in that pic.

lol/ I keep my hydro water @ 65f tops. that plant is starving for food . and that hot for the roots is horrible . deadly .

Thats only the top layer of the hydroton, the seedling is all the way down to the water which is 3" down. I had gh floramicro in there was mixed at 1/2 tsp before i added the fresh water (3 gallon hydrofarm). in the morning ill do a full flush to make sure the water is cool enough and i get back to the proper nute level. Should i follow gh mix for seedlings at 1/4 tsp per gallon or down mix it a little?

Damn i love how quick they can bounce back, i did this process maybe an hour and a half ago. Went and checked on it a moment ago and the leaves are almost completely back up just barely any droop left

Still going to do a full flush and drop the water temp, and adjust the nutes
