did I screw up, how to build light traps

I just finally finished my cabinet, but the problem is the fans I bought for the intake and exhaust are clear plastic pc fans, and when the lights are on, the fans glow, Stealth is the not issue, my cabinet is airtight, light tight, the only light coming out is where the fans are, so would a light trap stop them from glowing, would this be a problem when flowering, that the light from outside can come in through the clear plastic fans or there opening ???? I don't want to paint them cause I don't want to screw them up, the fans are on the outside of the box, to save room on the inside of cabinet. So would you put the light trap on the inside or outside ???? so how do make a good light trap that doesn't slow down or effect the air flow ????, Is there link here on this forum how to build light traps and materials needed

just build a box over them on the outside with the bottom missing to suck in/out the air?

sorry about the crude drawing, art was my worst subject.

I know this is kinda old, but could you put that little box on the INSIDE of the cabinet? like basically reverse its location. The same principal would still apply, or no? Thanks for anybody's help..

Yes...You could put something blocking the light this way over any hole you had light coming through...

if u put the box on the inside for the inlet fan it will hurt ur airflow. its best to put it on the side of the fan that is pulling but either way will work.
