Did I top my plant properly ? (Pictures)

Hello space cadets, I'm experimenting with topping, was wondering if I did it properly (pictures below) I mainly did it because my plant was getting weird at the top and obviously want bigger yields. I had 5 nodes so I cut it down to the 3rd. Thanks in advance for the advice.✌

Looks kinda weird. Not really sure what u did. I'll wait on someone with a better eye to give their insight.

technically you did top it but your supposed to do it sooner when the branching is soft/thin (new growth)

Thanks for reply, it was given to me when it already had 2 nodes so I waited until it got 5 then did it, do you think it will still grow properly or is it even worth it ?

I just topped it yesterday, should I wait a while to water it ? Feed it ? While it's recovering? Thanks

carry on as normal. there is no right way to top. you'll learn some ways make two colas, some make eight. top to your desired height before flowering, feed normally, the plant sends hormones down, to make more budding sites for seed survival. trim those up too if you want.

Water like you would normally. Typically it takes around 2 weeks for the plant to recover from the stress of being topped. After the 2 weeks you can expect an explosion of growth.

Thanks, good to know, is it possible I could get 4 from one cut ? I checked it today and it looks like nodes from each side might grow like east/west and north/south it would just be the top 2 right ?..thanks again !
