Did I top or just cut my baby

17days since transplanting. I tried topping the bigger and possible male. I'd rather try now and learn on a freebie that may be thrown out any way than the 20$ beans I bought lol so did I do it right?
This is the third week of giving nutes. Upped it and they responded so well. (Leaves were just kinda sad looking now they look happy and healthy and strong 6 hrs later)

Looks like a clean top to me. Those little nodes to the right and left of the cut will be two new tops

Cool thanks for the reassurance guys. Those nodes to the left and right were there before I cut. Does that have anything to do with things or those nodes wll still become 2 tops. Thanks fellas, I passed out before I got to say gnite to the babies hoping in the am they still love me lol

those grow at every new site. those would have been the actual chutes with buds but now itll force those 2 up and to keep making more off that.
