Did UVB lignt increase your potency?

Does UVB lignt increase potency? Do the lizard lights work? Is a MH enough

Anyone tried it got any insite? Any imput would be apppreciated.

Im using a 175MH an a 150HPS in my new cab an hoping the UVB from the MH will increase trics / potency.

I've hard about this before. I think it is supposed to simulate the extra UV rays a plant would get if it was grown at a high altitude. Haven't heard any reviews though.

I've never run MH and HPS together, but have seen lots of posts from those who do. From what I've heard, the area of the plants that are getting BOTH MH and HPS will be noticeably the best potency/growth, and second, the area only getting HPS. Last place is the MH.

But combining them seems to have made quite a few people happy. Seems pricey to me.

i added UVB and an additive called resinator
between the 2 i had massive potency increase

I think you only run it intermittently on a separate timer. I am foliar spraying with Dutch Masters Liquid Light and Saturator, said to allow the plant to use more of the available light. My outdoor plant has responded really well to them.

There are several threads on this subject, I'm interested as well. Check out Danielsgb grows. Riddleme said to run a ReptiSun 5.0 flouro lamp about 3' away from the canopy. Put it on its own timer. Run it 2x/day for about 20 minutes each time.

kinda off topic of ure lights but to increase your res you can leave your plants in the dark for the last couple days since resin production is primarily done in the dark. might help along with the added UVB

i run a 250w Eye Hortilux and a 250w CMH by Philips i run together at flower i bring in my uvb for an hour a day as far away as poss in a 39 inch square tent
i have been useing a uvb 20 for a year now

now to clear things up uvb will increase trichs it will not increase potency potency is predetermined in genetics

it shold be that easy that you can get some medioca cheap seeds put them under uvb and presto you got top grade smoke --dont we wish
i buy top genetics i could get the 29dollar 10 seed pack and a uvb--dont we wish

UVB nothing to play around with it can hurt your plants do more harm then good if used wrong and it can hurt you
so be carful
