didnt trim brush plants r stretching

Planted 10days ago.we had lots of rain and sun.so I didn't check up them.the surrounding brush grew quick and shaded them.there stretching out.of course I trimmed the brush.but now what to do with the plants.I've never topped my plants just let them grow.is that what I should do top them?there idinca/sativa crosses from peak seeds(which have been awesome!).

Just worried that will stress them Hermie them or weird them out some how.thanks for any help

How much did they stretch? How many sets of leaves do you have?

I wouldn't worry too much. I have 6 inch stretch before and fixed the situation, they recovered nicely.
