Diesel(?) Outdoors Grow

The facts:
2 plants
Some form of Diesel i believe
Outdoors
New England
No nutes
i think thats it....

So, I got these two seeds back in june and were told they were diesel, from a very reliable source (but you never know, and i wasn't told anymore specifics about what type of diesel) and i started growing them under some lights for a little until they were ready for the great outdoors.

I put one plant in one of my flower gardens where it gets a good amount of sun, and has plenty of room to grow.
The other is in my vegetable garden and it has a bit less sun, its very crowded and the bugs love it way too much, but its holding up.
I guess they've been doing ok, i had some trouble with bugs until i got my hands on some neem which i mixed with a little bit of soap and a lot of cold water and that has proved effective as a spray.
my only other problem has been some burning of the lower leaves, not sure why, but i'll get a good picture up soon.

I'll also get a picture of the plants currently, these below are just of the one in the better conditions. Hows my grow rate? Am I doing ok? The plant you see here is now just above my hip, and i'm 6'3 sooo w/e, I'll measure it next post.
Thoughts anyone?

Looking good! Think about/ select a nute line and get it going unless your soil can feed it alone, even still you may want to consider some additives. Do some research about what runs best given your growing method, I would advise the organic compost tea route but you may like the sound of something else. But the girls look beautiful soaking up the sun.. Nice sight after always staring at bright lights lol

Attention: I don't know the sex yet....but i don't see any balls forming, and i have a good feeling about these two so i'm hoping for ladies, but keep your fingers crossed for me people. Any ideas on when i'll start seeing signs of the sex? Also when the hell will flowering start? I was thinking mid august, but with the strange starting time, i'm not really sure.

Thanks! I'm not sure about nutes, i really know close to nothing about them or how to apply them (thats why i'm not using any, lol) but any info is always welcomed

great results in soil by brewing tea from organic compost (home made or store bought mix).dilute with 50% water at first then gradually increase concentration of tea to 80% compost brew over 8 weeks, then just plain water after that till they finish. To make tea, get a filter bag of some kind, A pump pre filter bag works pretty good, a pantyhose would probably work. Fill reservoir with water, buy air pump and air stones and tubing.attach stones to pump with tubing, put the stones in reservoir and turn on air pump, the compost needs oxygen to keep micro organisms alive. Then get an oversized water pump for reservoir to agitate water and assist in brewing. Put compost mix in filter bag, tie off, and dump bag in reservoir, turn on water pump, brew for 48 hrs. You'll never need to buy nutes! And it gets the organic stamp...

whad you think of my most recent update.... one of my plants looks like its made of snow ;)

too bad ur parents killed ur seedlings.
I wouldn't put it past my parents to intentionally do the same to me so that i wouldn't grow. my first plant my mom turned the lights off because the air conditioning man was in the house but "accidentally" forgot to the lights back on for three days.......

Well for some reason the world doesn't want me to post pictures, we only have one camera and it doesn't have a cord. wtf.
anyways, both my plants have finally started budding! one of them is almost 6 feet tall, and the other is a bit smaller, but the buds have progressed a little more.
What should i do to encourage more bud growth? trim? how would i go about doing that? Also if i've been using a Neem spray should i stop using that on the buds?
