Diesel Ryder 250w CFL Grow

the very tip doesnt HAVE to be pointed down, dont touch it for sure! it will go down naturally cuz of gravity
with the position it is in the diagram just go straight down with it put some dirt over top of seed so the casing can get pulled off and you're good to go

K i hope i didnt mess up.
I put my beans in the soil around 10 min ago..... ill have pictures up when they sprout........untill then someone drum roll for me

Yeah I follow you, I'm pretty baked. I don't really know electricity though dude. It should be alright though. Outlets handle a LOT of juice and that's not very much at all.

It doesn't really matter as the taproot will just go down into the soil anyway. Might as well put it so the seed part is higher than the root coming out, so the root is pointed down into the soil. But you could just throw it in there and have good results anyway.

When you plant: stick your finger an inch into the soil, drop the seed in there, and put cover with soil and gently pack it down so its not loose, but not super tight either.

I planted my seeds yesterday and all 6 popped up but 3 still have the shell attached to the leaves, so when the shells drop ill have my first update!!!

Ur plant looks pretty nice btw goodro

well lets see you have a 250watt hood, 4 26watt cfls, and lets say 80 watt fan.

250+104+80 watts = 434 watts total

amps = watts/volts


lets see how much money your setup cost to run a day

434X 18 = 7.812 Kw a day at the average rate of .07 a Kw

7.812X.07 = .55

nice not bad $0.55 a day is a good price for some good homegrown.


x= 434/120
x=3.616666 amps

your fine for now my power-tools average around 5.5 amps it is that amps that cause fires. to many amps for 1 wire will cause it to heat up or even melt.

The Cfl's are 42w so 4.15 amps but that prob doesn't change much. That was a pretty bomb evaluation thanks man!

I'm pretty excited because this is my first grow where i am going to be around my plants everyday!

Anyway they sprouted on the 8th so today is day 2.

O and also i want people to try to guess which of the 6 plants is the white widow, the rest are diesel ryders. Here is a hint, its not the first one shes just a little retard who couldn't get all of her leaves out of her shell until i riped it off her hahah.

Urgent, Help Quickly!!!

I could be FREAKING OUT but please hear me out :D:D:D

So I have to move my seedlings to another house but the problem is that it is a 5 hour drive away.
Do you guys think the plants can survive in a car and not under their lights for a full day?
I need to figure this out quickly because it will change when i leave.... please respond RIU people.
