Its dry everywhere, only a few times has something with a little moisture been passed across the counter. I personally believe THAT is the game.

Dry = lower weight, higher thc test #s, guarantee no mold. Add a plant harvested early, and you have their recipe for store success. Oh and sell tiny little pieces mostly too lol, ones most would set aside for processing (again, because they harvest early). They get a very pretty result harvesting early with a fast and thorough dry to the bone...they can package it indefinitely and it stays mediocre.
Bud tax paid by the grower here and it must be paid before it can be sold to a store. $50 an ounce cash. Bud at retails here are usually drier than a popcorn fart. Zero cure time so most is tasteless as well as odorless.

Head grower for at least 3 places is a friend. Was at his place dropping off seeds and a couple of plants. He turned me on to buds from his personal grow. Talk about reek! I mean in a vacuum can and it still stunk to high heaven.

Yet all the same strains at the ops he’s heading up had little to no odor and certainly didn’t taste like the buds he gave me.

I’ve lived and worked in 3 legal states and if people are thrilled with new legal I don’t blame them. But I’ve helped a lot of people get going and growing. They taste mine and ask how I do it.

There’s quality product here but you’re going to pay. Makes black market very attractive. Sales here $9 a gram! Limit 3! Hurry in!

You see stuff as high as $17 a gram. “28% THC!” Lol. Maybe it’s my tolerance but the times friends have smoked a bowl with me I didn’t get $17 high.
