Different lighting strategy, working quite well

I have been doing some experimentations with different lighting setups than what most people use. I have been using various florescents (multiple wattages, multiple spectrums) to cover a non-scrog grow from different angles. My results have been very interesting. Wondering if anyone else has tried something similar and if they did as well as I am.

I'm not posting pics yet. I may at some point in the future, but for now a description will have to suffice. I'm growing an indica heavy strain of unknown origin. I vegged for about 60 days before switching to 12/12 and flowering nutes. The plant as of now is about 5.5 feet tall and has well over 30 individual buds that appear to be very similar to each other in size. I am expecting a decent harvest sometime in the next month.

For lighting on this particular plant I chose 5 different bulbs. All were florescents the equivalent of 100-250 watt. Two were daylight bulbs, 2 were full spectrum and one was a soft white bulb. I positioned them as follows, 2 over head set off center, one on either side and one from underneath covering the interior leaves. Also, the interior of the grow space was covered in a reflective material to help spread the light around.

I'm obviously new to this but am quite surprised and happy with the results. Any input is appreciated.

Some more info about the grow:

I designed the soil to be really well draining and ran a wick up from a collection reservoir under the soil. I had to water about once daily to prevent wilting. I kept the room HEPA filtered and maintained 75 degrees F with 50-60% humidity. I didn't add CO2 or monitor the levels. Also, since I was aiming for full lighting coverage I didn't do any pruning aside from taking several clones from the plant throughout the veg stage.

5.5ft BEFORE veg? I hope you have some tall ceilings to accommodate the stretch. You say it's indica dominant - is it bushy or is most of the growth straight up with little branching? I'm trying to picture your plant and the amount of light you're giving it can't be nearly enough for a plant that size. I had 6 23w (true watts, none of that equivalent garbage) on two very small plants and they ate it up like it was nothing.

To answer your question, lots of people use florescents to side/spot light in grows. The plant will always turn towards/grow into lights, no matter the angle, if that's what you're seeing. Some people have spherical or tubular scrogs around their lights.

No, sorry lol, I must have worded it a bit misleading. It is 5.5 ft tall now and has been in flower for nearly a month. Good to know other people do the same thing with lighting. I hadn't seen much of it on here. Also it is quite bushy, I'd say 3.5 ft wide or more at the mid section.

These are some shots from my first grow. I'll get around to taking some of my current stuff later on. If I remember right, this was my veg room just prior to the one on the right going into flowering. With the next grow I started adding more lights in different places.
