Digital ballast help.

im looking to get a 400w digital ballast complete set up preferably if not thats fine. but does anyone know of good digital ballast? i heard some are on the cheap end with "rf sheilds" and my grow will be in the general area of my main cable box. any help would be great. looking more towards the non big names and any good air cooled hoods you guys would recomend.

I would go with a 600 watt because they are the most efficient and therefore the most bang for your buck.

I would say ebay.com is your best bet, just do a search for what you want and then filter the results from cheapest + shipping to most expensive and go from there.

but with the ipower does it have a good rf sheild?

Digital greenhouse from htg supply. Doen know if it's rf shielded but mine 3 years and goin strong

Lumatek 600 watt digital. RF shielded. Great warranty. Best brand IMO. No reason to go 400 watt. The Lumatek 600s have a dimmed and dial-a-watt options in 400 watt. So you can either get a 600 and dim to 400 or run a 400 on the 400 setting. Good to have that 600 option in case you wish to get more lumens per square foot.

Looking for cheap no frills.check out hid hut ballasts.I hear if you call in you can bargain down the hefty shipping.
