Dimmable Ballast: Are all bulbs dimmable ??

Purchased a dimmable ballast with 3 different wattage settings. Do I need a dimmable bulb or are all bulbs dimmable ??

As far as I know, you can dim all bulbs. But Im no expert. If anyone thinks/knows its the contrary, nows the time to step in and set me straight.

Thanks Nullis... I will be running my 150 watt bulb on my 150/175/250 ballast then.

It's not recommended to dim a hortilux bulb due to loss of spectrum! Hope this helps
