Dingle Dong Double Decked! What to do?

So some ding ding from work gave me these. Two plants per container, separated by a piece of cardboard.
Getting ready to repot.
Any input or ideas on how best to do this?

I can transplant a single plant just fine.

Let the soil dry out , then separate; water once transplanted

Just tip em out the pots and separate. No need to over think it.
