disagreement with friend over lighting. please shed some light..

we have about 150 watts in LEDs and about 150 watts in CFLs. they vary across the color temperature spectrum pretty aside from those at 5000k and above. should this lighting suffice a 9 ft by 9 ft room for 24 plants (maximum, if all seeds were to germ and produce healthy females) during flowering?

It would work, but not very well.... Especially for the amount of space you have. Get a nice big LED panel or something HID.

thank you very much everyone. i now have 2 more question.
1) will the lighting i have suffice until flowering at least?
2) how much more light will i need during flowering?

1: might do if you have your grow area set up alright, probably looking at smaller plants though
2: you'll really want to add more for flowering if you want to get much. Maybe 2-4 times more light?
