Diy Aeroflo Build

I am about to build my first aero system but I have a few questions if thats cool? I have most of the bits sorted and have been growing now in Soil and Coco for about 4 years so not a complete novice.

here goes,

1:] When drilling the holes in the square PVC fence posts, should I have the plant sites staggered instead of parallel to each other?
2:] Is having the rez outside of the grow room a good idea to keep nute temps down and are there any negative issues to take into consideration if the rez is outside of the grow room?
3:] for a 28 site system, what size pump is advisable? I have already got an adustable 2000Lph pump but curious if that will be okay?

cheers,

e2a: Cant believe this is my first post and I have been here 1 and a half years..

I'm new here and I have a similar question along the same lines. In Stinkbuds' cloners and veg units he uses 8-10 sparayers with a 396GPH (1500 LPH).

I'm designing a container system for growing tobacco. 1 plant per container, 4 spray heads per container. With 6 plants that would be 24 spray heads.
I'm sure the pump doesn't care how many plants you are growing just the number of nozzles, the more nozzles you add the less pressure through each so the mist won't be as fine.

So the question I have is how do you size your pump for X number of nozzles

I was looking to try and find what size pump comes with the actual retail Aeroflo but have not been able to..

Okay so a slight update on this now.

My rez and a few other bits came today. I need to start making the stands for the chambers. Can anyone tell me what sort of difference in height they need to be for the nutes to flow?

Thanks

any 1's aero system sprinklers head cloged?
I have not done aero before but done a recirc DWC with sprayers and I never had a problem with the nutes clogging the sprinklers/sprayers. I think the key to doing aero or anything with small lines or jets is to find a brand of nutes that wont clogg up your shit.

I am using a brand of nutes called Chempak. Chempak #2 for veg and Chempak #4 for blooming. I am not sure if you can get it in the states but here in the U.K its used by exhibition growers for growing HUGE tomato's - Its a powder based nute and 1 box makes 3000L and costs £4.99 so about $10 to the U.S Market.

I have tried most big brand nutes and they cause issues along the way in one way or another. The only ones that I didnt really have a problem with was GHE 3 part stuff but I went back to chempak in the end.

Below are some pics of one of my grows using Chempak and Autopots
