Diy calcium magnesium suppliment - calmag

Calcium nitrate—- 4 grams per gallon
Magnesium nitrate—— 2 grams per gallon
Chelated iron edta——— .145 grams per gallon

If i mix this in a 5 ml water,

To make 1L equals to 200times

Meaning i need to add
800g calcium nit
400g mag nit
29g iron edta

But after adding these, my mixture is more than 1liter lol

Hi everyone this recipe is the closest to botanicare cal mag plus.
I use this recipe in my aero/nft system. In my last run I use it at 150ppm @700, RO 0ppm.
1mL/g = 60-65ppm/0.1ec
It’s been discussed before that fe DTPA works better than EDTA, but EDTA works fine.

Here is my nutrient recipe to make 1 liter or 1 gallon of a concentrated nutrient solution.

A and B solution with diy cal mag plus and RO water nothing more.

Can we use this the whole grow?
If yes,

What are the volume for seedling,veg n flower.

Currently im using lucas formula.. so convenient..

Yes from seedlings to harvest in hydroponics. The max dose is 10mL a gallon (I’m in the USA).
I believe you have a ppm/ec meter, just star low you know every strain is different some like high ppm some like low ppm. My last run my kushberry didn’t like over 350 ppm @700 conversion.
For seedlings I use stinkbud kiss method
I use Half gallon RO water
140mL A (don’t mix a and b as concentrates)
140mL B
50mL cal mag
(Unfortunately with this mix you get solid salt build up at the bottom of the bottle, that’s why I don’t share this mix but it works for me)
Mix with the half gallon water in a jug then add to the reservoir, starting at 100-150 ppm @700 then a couple of weeks later little by little work your way up. Watch for leaf tip burn when increasing ppm. Later on you will know when to add cal mag separately at 150ppm.

I respect your opinion but the title is diy cal mag. Op recipe works but I’m pretty sure 80% of the people that ended up in this thread are looking for the concentrated version.

I been smoking since was 16 I grew couple plant in my past but now I older I got medical license for weed in my state then they just made Marijuana legal here and can grow 4 plant I buy the grow tent I just need some help to exact soil and chemicals I need to great great weed I can order only female plant seeds but I just love smoking weed it my native American tradition in my family so what a good website to get all the supplies I know bat feces is good for growth but know nothing about buffer in dirt but I do in my aquarium so can someone please help me

As cannabis was introduced to the americas by white colonists so can't really be counted as a native american tradition tho tobacco can. People harvesting bat and seabird guano have devastated both species in their greed to make cash regardless of the destruction they cause so not a sustainable fertilizer option for thinking people.

There are lots of beginners instructions in the forums and you can check out this library of free pot books for more detail if you want.
