DIY carbon filter. Will this work?

Hello. I ran across this DIY carbon filter online. Looks really simple. I just wanted to get others thoughts on if they think it would work?

It should work well depending on the volume you are trying to scrub. I made one similar and
it covers 9 plants well.

look in the diy sub forum on general mj growing they got a bunch of diy carbon filters also
