ok ive been reading about co2. water+sugar+yeast? can anyone explain the correct mixture (or direct me to a thread). with this temperature increase i need to do something, but i dont want to mix up a batch of poison air...:spew:

1 part sugar for every 3 parts warm water....I usually just use a cup or two in a 1Litre or a powerade bottle...
1-2 teaspoons of yeast...

dump a bit of water and add new water every few days...shake daily...add more yeast / sugar when you dont see a lot of bubbles....

I don't know how effective it is..
a co2 tank + regulator or co2boost (as referenced by VM) work best in my opinion.

how do you release it to the plants? pour it on them? (i thought roots needed o2 not co2) or just open cap a bit so the gas seeps out? and if so, how long does it seep for? cheers

Jesus, you late the yeast digest the sugar in the bottle, if the yeast works aerobic, with O2, it will produce CO2 and H2O, if it works anaerobic, without O2, ethanol and a bit CO2.:-|

basically the yeast burns the sugar:roll:

also, the leave observe the CO2, during the light cycle and the O2 during the dark cycle thru the undersides of the leaves, the got there little ATP controlled openings doing the job.

the roots are for N2, water and minerals;)

okay, cheers. sorry to annoy you further, but your large words confuse my befuddled mind.. ive heard wine yeast is the best to use, is that 'anaerobic'? and, sorry again, but how do you administer the co2/h2o sollution which collects? simply pour it?

sorry sorry cheers
