The ts1000 only puts out just over 100w I believe....
It's 150 W, and you have to look at the price per watt -- since otherwise, these lights are quite close together regarding quality and output.

Currently their TS 1000 is on sale (on their website and also on Amazon), it's a good opportunity to grab them.

I'm very pleased with the quality of these lights, especially at the current price.

Of course, the LED offerings change all the time, and prices will only get lower. Don't buy anything you don't need.

The TS 3000 has triple the wattage of the TS 1000, and is otherwise identical.

If you buy 3x TS 1000 you currently save almost $100 over a single TS 3000, but you are much more flexible in your setup. The three separate lights will use more space than a single TS 3000 however.

I'd go the route of 3x TS 1000 if I were you; especially since you already have a TS 1000.

Good luck with your drip setup, can't comment on it from experience, but see no reason why it wouldn't work.

I've been looking at the vipar spectra xs 2000, it has a 225w usage and is the perfect size to fit in my grow area. 225w might be a bit over kill in my 1mx0.7m grow space but that's what the dimmers for I guess....
Just rather have the extra power incase I up size my grow space....
Going to use a ts 600 for vegging and flower them under this xs2000 :weed:

A couple of bucks does not make a difference in the long run. You will run these lights for years, most probably. What's even 50 quid of difference while you're harvesting multiple pounds under the lamp.

I assumed you already own a TS 1000, that's why I was suggesting to buy more and daisy chain them. I like the flexibility of having multiple small lamps, especially when that is even cheaper than buying a large one... SpiderFarmer has that option as well, not sure ATM about Vipar Spectra.
