Good luck but I don't think you'll need it !!!

Question...let's say you you have a Thermostat that is designed for base board heaters 120VAC & you wanted to use that to control an exhaust fan, no heater...could you use a SPST? Or a SPNO? In this application you just need the fan to come on at temps above the TSTAT setting.

was hopping i could get some help on this thermostat i started reading your thread .....witch i gotta say is sick that some people can understand all this....so i was trying to set up a thermostat to some plugs so that i would be able to controll my fans and a heater in my flower room to turn on and off when the temp gets to high or low..... i have a heater like you have and some pc fans, intake can fan, exhaust blower, and two fans moving air around ....so i was wondering what you would suggest i plug into the thermostat plugs ?? here are some pics of when i was trying back in the day .... i was going to do the humidifier to but i found one with a built in humidistat so im set on the humidity just gotta get down the temps so i dont have to keep turning on fans and off fans when lights go on and off.....but yea like i said i was hopping i could hook up the thermostat to a two plug socket that i could plug my fans into


this is what i was trying before didnt work tried severl different wireing ways.... hope someone can help out hooking this thermostat up no need for the humidistat anymore

I hope somebody finishes this thread, it would be seriously good to have this in a growroom.

For the electronically inclined, alot of the things needed for the controller can be substututed cheaper, and put into a nice little slightly cut up pc psu chassis with a couple outlets and a remote sensor.. Its an option if you don't want to wire the room suspiciously, but I can see the convenience of this way..) I built a temp/humidity controller mostly from parts I got from dead monitor.. The humidity sensor I had to use an (older/cheaper) furnace humidity controller though.. I probably have schematics on a pc still if anybody is interested..

I had a look through the thread but I havent' found a clear step by step procedure. can someone (or the op) direct me to that?

Furthermore, I found this humidistat sensor (http://www.conrad-uk.com/ce/en/product/187712/Hygrosens-FEUCHTESCHALTER-TW2001B-B/SHOP_AREA_14741&promotionareaSearchDetail=005) but I am not sure if will serve to my purpose. and if so how is the wiring?

My purpose is building a simple humidifier composed by an air pump (those for aquarium which is 240V) with its tube bubbling in a bottle full of water and the outlet gas convoying the humid gas to the tank.

Any help?
