So I was about to pull the trigger on 4 288s on Alibaba. You can get them for 100 bucks and I was about to pay $516 including shipping. I haven’t heard back from the people yet but I’m going to see if they can cut a price to help me achieve the price I was going for but if not then I’m just going to go another route because there’s no way I’m paying double shipping all the sudden.
so basically I’m at a place now where I am either going to have to buy cheap shitty LEDs off Amazon which I don’t want or build my own. Basically my question is this...
I was about to have just under 1000 W of 3000 K light for about 520 bucks. If I build my own DIY boards with gooI was about to have just under 1000 W of 3000 K light for about 520 bucks. If I build my own DIY boards with good COBs like cree, can I get somewhere around 800 to 1000 W for around the same price as 520 bucks?
i’m kind of pissed because I didn’t pull the trigger a week ago and now I’m fucking dealing with the extra hundred dollars which I really just can’t spend
I don’t need 1000 W but I definitely would like to have as many as I can get for the money so 700 to 1000 would be great but I’m definitely not going to be able to spend more than 520 bucks.
