Diy nft system, advanced nutrients

Running a DIY downspout nft system. 100 % Ro water starting at 0ppm. About 2 Plants a week keep dieing. Using advanced connoisseur line. Thinking it's root rot. But is there anything in particular that I need to nutrients. I read I need calmag. Suggestions.

Check your roots. Without pics who can tell what's going on. CalMag is not the answer.

Also check your temps of the water.

If your water temp is too high it’s a breeding ground for pathogens.

Is root tips black?

Yeah water temp was 75. I thought it could make due. But guess not. Ordered a chiller. Btw guys thx for the replies
