Made myself a cloning cabinet today. Its a small 21x30" 12" deep cabinet i got for $44 on sale. 120 volt pc fan, F17T8 seeding light and 3 23 watt 6500k CFLs for the bottom. All i can do in my grow area is 4 plants so this will be big enough to get things going while I am flowering in my other room.

Nice job. I would mount those bulbs horizontally if possible for more efficient use of the light.

Thanks guys! The box has been staying about 79 degrees (my thermometer may be a degree or two high) and 38% humidity. Its getting dry here so ill have to crank up the humidifier on the furnace. Might buy a small humidifier and park it right infront of the intake holes. Wish I would have built this a month ago! I think half of my problems with my seedlings was wasted light and temps. One day in the box and they are already improving. I also went to 18/6 on the timer instead of 24/0 and the fan stays running 24/7.

Very nice dude, planning a new room and a slightly smaller version of this to mount on a wall in my new room for the same purpose, sweet design, going to copy-cat a similar setup, +rep :)

Thanks guys! Humidity is a small headache right now cause it's getting dry here but the little humidifier is keeping it above 40%

Hey man, cabinet looks great. Just wanted to comment on those jiffy pots you're using. If you can get you some Rapid Rooter plugs or even rockwool cube, I recommend it. I found that those Jiffy pots are so tight and compact that they do not allow much air to get to the roots and end up making the seedlings have to work extra hard to grow nice roots. When I switched to Rapid Rooters my seeds took off waaay faster and never once did I have any problems. I'm not saying Jiffy Pots dont work, as they do. Just that they are not the most efficient way. Even though it is cool to soak them and watch em puff up.
