regular bic is fine, keep it a bit away, the stuff starts boiling well south of 60C.

Maybe I need to give your way a try, ANC. So you have the measured amount inside the 5 screens? Or is it placed on top of the 5 screens? I tried two screens thick but the oil kept slipping through.

yeah on top, you can try putting a small bed of dried herb (preferably not cannabis), but mint or caapi or mullien , or even ash can be used.
If the oil slipped through, suck the flame through the screen till it gets hot enough to vape the stuff inside.

ya my buddy just moved out there.. you cant have basements in Cali because of the earthquakes
