Do bees like cannabis pollen?

I have a friend in Toronto and she planted some seeds this year.
One of her plants was a male and she was impressed with all the pretty flowers.
She did not know it was a male.
She also commented that she had never before seen so many bees around a flowering plant before.

Have others noticed the same thing?

It's a great late season source of pollen for many pollinators. I had a male plant amongst 11 females one season and it was an incredible sight to see 10 ft tall plant & all the many different creatures it attracted.

Male Cannabis plants do not have flowers, they have pollen sacs that pop and drop, so not sure what your friends is growing there but it's not cannabis.

Bees will collect pollen from male cannabis plants. Bees eat nectar and pollen. They require both.

Bees eat pollen. They make bee bread.

Funny, just observed a bumblebee check out my plants but turned up their nose and moved onto regular flowers.

Well supposedly people have actually already experimented with using trained bees to pollinate cannabis it is possible apparently i read that somewhere or maybe even a video on youtube i cant quite remember lol
