I don't have much of a nose myself and almost all the people I know that use pot are either stoners who rate their pot by how messed up it gets them or like myself, more interested in the medicinal effects.
Tho I grow mostly with hydro nutes in soilless or DWC I've found that adding some organics to my soilless does seem to bring out more fruity scents and likely more that my unsophisticated palate doesn't notice.
I'm sure if I broke my 50 year addiction to tobacco I'd notice a lot more. This year for sure! lol

Are you serious? Flush until the leaves are yellow? Why? I harvest fully ripened plants while leaving the leaves healthy and green all the way til the end. That's some of the worst advice I've seen in awhile. Yeah, lets starve the plant when it's bulking up. Good grief.

It is a long held fact that the symbiotic relationship between the living soil and the plant. Produce some factors can not completely be reproduced by synthetic feeding...
You all must remember that the growing done by my parents. Was done for many years. Both grew up on farms. Both had direct contact with the plants and results from growing them for all those years also...
It's called direct experience....
I didn't find the difference in terp profiles from differing sulfate sources over night....AND, no matter how I've tried and tried..(I am working on finding what I might supplement to pull in those Pinene's)...I simply can not copy the those terp profiles in soil and synthetics that organics produce...
Synthetic run GG, does NOT smell like organic run at all.....Supplementing those 2 sulfates helps but, you can still tell......Bias or not.
The real difference to me? My customers can tell the difference! Like @OldMedUser said.
Some don't care as long as the buzz stays the same but,,,those other 2/3 are so passionate about that taste and smell (and they can pick them out every time)....They MUST have the organic!

Mom put all the tomatoes in the sink and washed them. We ate them. She, on her own and with out any previous bias or thought to find a difference...Did.
She was not privy to how the gifted tomatoes were grown, nor mentioned any possible bias before eating them....
