Do cuttings take longer time to root in a colder environment with lower humidity?

I just use a dwc with 1” rockwool with tap water and 3 air stones so water splashes bottom of cutting which hangs 1” below rockwool. I put in my furnace room under 1 cfl bulb. I dip with rooting powder and put in there. Never had a clone die yet in 3 years of using this method. Heres a couple pics very easy cheap set up. View attachment 5072621View attachment 5072622

I tried it this way once, I ended up with little worms/eggs of something or other in the rockwool cube.

Someone take a cut & place it in a cup of tap water, leave it in the bottom of your tent for 2 weeks. Check on it every few days because you will have to add water during the 2 weeks. You will get roots. No need to cover it with a dome or anything to maintain humidity. I’ve done it multiple times without having to add this & that. The term “Less is more” has never been more accurate.
