Do females take longer to show sex then male?

Well i had 3 plants, all started at the same time...2 of which just recently showed their nuts, but my last 1 still remains a mystery. So i was just wondering if females take longer to show their sex?

may experience says yes, a few days longer, but always keep a look out sometimes a hermaphrodite will show female parts first and a week or two later show male

the males need to get more height so they show earlier.

Just got a little glimpse of hope that this will be my first female , if not i'll just buy some fems

The males need to get more height? or the females

Kinda confused me because if something needed to get more height wouldn't it show later?

My experience is that usually the first ones to show are the females.
Strictly unscientific, just a recollection of more than a couple years growing.

males drop their pollen, thus being up above the female plants that receive the pollen helps the process... so yes, male plants are usually taller than chic's..

in my experience, the males and females show about the same time...but if one takes a bit longer to show sex it usually turns out female.
