What about jam jars
problem with jam/ pickle jars sometime lids don't seal well and/or you can't get smell out but probably better than plastic. most any type of stores(hardware, drug, big box) (at least in the US) have the canning jars.

You're not storing them in the cure jars, they're in there for 2-4 weeks and being opened regularly. Anything is fine as long as you're burping them. Of course they have to be cleaned well and ideally not have had anything that would transfer the smell to the buds. I use old 2lb tin coffee cans for curing/burping as they can hold ~3 zips per tin with some air space left. Then transfer them to either glass jars. On the other hand I have stored in plastic with no issues, I've found 1 1/2 year old sealed plastic container when i moved that I forgot about and the weed was still fresh and no smell of plastic.

I've done it in plastic, and it sucks. All that weed from cali from the outdoor never sees glass, thats why it's not quite as good imo

Any walmart, ace, or major grocery store in the US sells ball jars. About 10 bucks for a dozen as I recall.

Doesn't have to be a canning jar though. Those glass canisters/cookie jars with the gasket work great. It must be air tight, and if you can smell any of the materials, don't do it.
