Do I need to add CalMag to tap water?

Can lowering the ph with a tiny amount of vinegar, break the particles down enough to make at least some of the cal available? Partially dissolving the carbonate

Very much agreed!...but to a very certain extent.
Some people here come from places with fucked up ass water every which way you look at it, tap/bottled/municipal/Wal-Mart/etc. Seriously though, many people here also have clinical OCD though. There's two sides of the story. (Most cases-like mine)Water is perfectly safe to consume and use on crops BUT does it contain this and that, that may or may not, interact with growing media compnents is the key issue here. I have used tap water for all my home garden and indoor plant needs and here's that but again, I also use RO water for some feedings for soil...i could go on with variables that I should mention I have a thread on my areas tap water and no comments...
Most can't wrap their head around the stigmas placed on tap h2o.

I learned how to grow when tap water, Scotts PS & 40Watt t12s were all I had...early 90s, parents basement, rural well water that rusted and scaled everything! Shits made too easy for people nowadays and you see posts like this galore. Sad really but you get with the times, right?

Sorry for late replay. I had my water tested. So now I know what is in it and almost nothing. I Use 150 ppm/ 0,3 EC Cal Mag with tree part Cal And one part Mag
