do i start flowering?

Im pretty sure shes preflowering i see a tear drop looking thing (calyx) between the nodes. A couple of them have a lil white hair, the one on top node is indeed a lil white hair theres only one, and really tiny. Can i keep letting it veg its 48 days old from sprout? Or do i have to start flowering. I would put s pic but my phone camera dosent focus that close. Ill try with a different camera after work.

unless it is an auto-strain, which i doubt, you can flower at any time. i have read multiple places that it is good to look down at the canopy from a birds eye view, if at least 2/3 of the ground is blocked by leaf foliage, you are good to start flowering. If you can still see gound, keep vegging.

Its only about 12 1/2 inches tall. I know it should be bigger but i think its cause i had such little light. I also topped sunday and got more lights for it,and was told to give it about 2 weeks to recover from it. Then i was going to flower. Heres a couple of pics.

I dont know how much space you have, or what you are looking for a yield. I would LST and veg some more though. You have plenty of horizontal space it seems.
