Do these trichomes look ready??

Are these trics ready?

I harvested bubblegum with clear tricomes that had a gold glow. At first I only took the top cola that was clear with the gold glow. About a week later when most were starting to get milky I took the rest. i like a sativa high not couch-lock.

I am extremely happy with my decision. I never bought weed that blew my doors off like this.
 
No, I am saying the first one cola I cut is all I wanted in a smoke. The clear gold glow kinda freaked me out since I did NOT want amber couch lock. To be honest I haven't tried the ones I harvested later. Next time i smoke I will try one of those.

FWIW, I find this to be very good advice. For example, when I was just starting out, I didn't have enough light, I was just using some CFLs, and not enough. Now looking back in hindsight, I know that no matter what those trichs looked like, they were never going to finish properly because the flowers were just simply not mature and developed like they should be. I mean, yeah they would eventually turn amber, but only the ones that weren't already milky, which was a much smaller number than if it had had more light.

Now, for the most part, I know when my strains are going to fatten up, how and when the pistils recede, when the calyxes are going to fatten up, and then I start looking at trichs to see how long I want to let them sit there and ripen...

Also, I feel like you've still got at least a week, maybe more left... Still quite a bit of clear... How fat are the calyxes?
 
It's hard to get a picture with just the Green Crack. It's a tiny plant. I wasn't originally going to keep it, but changed my mind at the last minute so it was in a 1gal pot too long, and it's surrounded by other types. So I did the best I could, but it's basically the plant in the center.

I know, it's one of my favorite looking ones. These are all clones from a Denver dispensary. I'll have to try to get a close up of some of the others. The Tahoe Alien is really nice looking too. But so is the Kandy Kush. The Ghost of Leeroy doesn't look as good, it's been kinda starved. And my least pretty is the Afghani which is the only one I'm not growing next time. I replaced that with a Stardawg. I'm gonna try the perpetual grow. I'll try to update this so people can have a rough estimate of flower time for the few strains I've got. If I would of known it was going to take a little longer I wouldn't of started the flush so soon. Like I said before, I'm a rookie.
