Do they look ready? Lots of pics!!

I've been flowering my girl for about 2months now. I went ahead and started my final flush going on a week today. I was able to check the trichs with my friends microscope a couple days ago and all i could see was clear but they look pretty done. Well the top half does I let it get to big and didnt have enough lighting to support her, hense the airy buds. I was planning on going lights out for 3 days before harvest just im not sure when to do so yet, if it needs more time ill be patient. Also i heard of cutting the top half and letting bottom ripen, any word on that??

If you're sure they look clear don't cut. What strain are they ?

Cut cloudy for an uplifting cerebral buzz, amber for a sedative one, or in between. Id get a 30X scope if that's what its called.

or you can do a partial harvest, some cloudy, then a week later, more amber trich ..

Last thing you want is to cut too early ...

Agree'd a scope is your best option. Usually under optimum conditions a plant will be in flower for around 8-15 weeks depending on the strain. Obviously a heavy sativa will take 14weeks or slightly more and a good indica will take 8 weeks. However flowering times usually do not include the 2 week stretch that the plant goes through after you switch to 12/12 so even an 8 week flowering strain can take 10weeks due to the stretch and this is with optimum conditions.

Without optimum conditions a plant can take longer. It can take longer if the temps are not right, or if you nute burn, or if you dont have enough light. So in order to be at the correct point to harvest your plant you will need to purchase a scope or jewellers loop.

I don't have one personally but i have a friend down the street who bought one from radio shack i just use his. I'm looking for more of and uplifting rather than sedative so cloudy would mean pick. what about cutting down the top half in about a week or so and letting bottom ripen up more. I heard a lot about letting it have two days or so dark before harvesting cuz my trichs arent nothing fancy... the strain is a mystery strain from some dank swag. Wasn't expecting high quality just more of a project so i don't mess up these exotic seeds i just got in. I have a pH problem or something as well cuz a lot my fan leaves are dying off. Not turning yellow but crisping up and drying into the buds. i already can tell trimming gonna be a pain

Get a scope, 30 - 100x and youll see if they are ready. Jer La Mota has a good pict posted bellow.

agreed on the scope but what about leaving the bottom half cuz its clearly not ready

**update** check the trichs today and alot of them were cloudy there was some that were clear but for the most part cloudy like 80% and 20% are still clear. wat do you guys think maybe a week. Wanting more of an up high so ima pick before amber but should i wait for all them to be cloudy cuz its only on some spots that are still clear
