Do trichomes mature without leaves

Should i harvest this girl now or wait another week or two?

As you can see there are basically no leaves left but the trichomes are only 50/50 clear/cloudy whereas I would prefer 50/50 cloudy/amber.

Will the trichomes continue to mature without leaves? It's 100% indica on 9th week of flowering in soil no ferts used.

9th week for an indica hmm... I personally would let it go a bit longer it looks amazing! If you chop now it would probably be ok.

if you thought removing all those leaves would help, and also that skipping fertilizer would help too, I'd say harvest it now, whats the difference

I only removed the leaves if they were dead or had fallen of themselves. This is my first grow so wanted to let the plant go through its life cycle without much intervention so I had some sort of baseline to work with.

Well that was my question, would there be any difference in trichome development without the foliage? If not I'll harvest her now and reuse the tent for the ones I got ready in my closet.

There are still some leaves from what i see not big fan leaves but the smaller one will continue to produce glucose
That's all I needed to hear really. I'll let her go until her last watering drys up over the next 4 - 5 days then hang her to dry a day later.

you'll be ok, but leave leaves alone in the future. If they're dying off that much you have other issues. dont ever remove a green leaf for best results. this is great for your first, I seen some firsts that flopped bad, you got some bud there to get you through till the next tree. good luck!
