Do trichs actually tell you when it's done?

So, the more I go through these ''are they ready'' type threads, the more responses I see that are 50/50 on when it's best to harvest.

My question is, does a plant actually have a ''right time'' to harvest? I mean, given after the last couple weeks of the plant bulking up after that
do you actually have to harvest at the times people say, when the trich's are cloudy? Or is it all preference like some people say?

So if you want to get super high, maybe that feeling is a sativa, so you harvest when the trich's are clear for a head high. And maybe if you think
being stuck on a couch is what more potent is, then more amber trich's are for you.

I'm not sure, and I probably worded this all fucked up haha, but I hope I got the point across.

sativas are responsible for that heady feeling. while indicas produce that couch lock buzz. its all in the strain dude! if you order from a seedbank make sure you see what you're buying. (sativa, indica, or a hybrid of both, with one being more dominant then the other)

Trichs are how you can tell the bud is ripe. Whether you want cloudy or amber is up to what you like and the strain.
