Do tube heaters give off ir?

I don’t see where I said there was.

So it has to be actual ir light? Ok. When people say the ir is the reason for the heat I wasn’t 100% sure if the ir heat would have any detrimental effects. Thanks for clearing that up. I did say was probably a stupid question. But no one seems to answer my serious questions. Guessing there isn’t that much knowledge around here just smart alecs
