Do yellowing leaves actually matter?

Not an experienced grower, probably done about 6 grows in total. Often I've got really stressed out because my plants didn't look green and pretty. In fact I got really ocd about it and it kind of put me off growing. Anyway just as example these plants looked awful leafwise pretty much the entire flowering time and it really pissed me off. However the end result produced really nice weed and for me a decent yield. Seems like the worrying was pointless and that weed plants don't really need green leaves to produce. Anyone else find this is true?

There's better options. Ladybugs are wild caught.
Sorry I should’ve been more clear. Don’t buy lady bugs. They are mainly wild caught which makes them invasive to your region typically, and extracted somewhere else. Instead like all of nature, be symbiotic, give and take.

Green leaves help facilitate eating. The less green they are, the less they eat.

The less they eat, the less weight they put on.

so.....I guess after they yellow, youre right, they don't matter. That's why the idea is to keep them green.
