my definition of that is DMT.

DMT is released into your brain when you are met with times of extreme stress (near death.)

only makes sense that people who come to expect such things would allow their brain to do so with the help of good ol DMT.

I believe in the here and now. I live in the present tense. I am aware that I don't have many answers to the afterlife, so I don't give it much of my time. I doubt very much that there is an afterlife, and I am CERTAIN that whatever if any afterlife is available, man hasn't a clue to what that is. What emanates from man in this category is all background noise, nothing more than a controlling agent a la 51 flavors of wrong wrong wrong.

One of my old military buddies came down a week ago and we went to a Confederate cemetary and sat and hit the peace pipe for hours with Captains and privates and all ranks inbetween.Ran into some daughters of the confederacy but no ghosts.I think they would have been really impressed at the change in the quality of the smoke.bongsmilie

LOL, and I don't think they'd be opting for that particular smoke anymore either.

Cracker, we all really have no choice but to live in the present....so to speak. The present is afterall the "here and now." Some choose to live in the past "while in the present." While others choose to live in the past and future-----no choice but to live the present.
The future......now, that's key. I don't know if the human mind can truly comprehend eternity. But it's something to at minimum to give thought to.
Forever is a mighty long time.

Life Force,Conscious and life after death.Seems like if we are a life force that reincarnates or stays in limbo. That is some really deep shit.I choose to believe when you are gone you are gone.
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust go we must.Matters not which god we trust.
Can you imagine the amount of souls in heaven or hell?If it were to exist?I think i'd rather be alone.:wall:

it's not forever if you are not aware of it.
Correct, and no one--other than the deceased, could really ever be faced with what "forever" entails.
I guess my point was that while living in the present, I am also living for the future.

I guess it all boils down to our varying personalities and life situations.
I choose to believe that life is somewhat of a test and that we are all given options--granted.
I conveniently choose to not ponder too heavily on the possiblility of souls being forever tortured in hell. At the same time, I choose to understand that it is not in my stance in life to fully comprehend the after life either. :peace:

You don't have to believe in God to believe in ghosts.....just sayin'
Hey Sunny. I also choose to believe in God....and I would never impose that choice on others. That's just not the way it should ever work.
I can gurantee you however that if Cracker and I were to sit and smoke up, we'd have a conversation where we would both walk away enlightened and neither of us would be the slightest bit insulted.:peace:

TBH, I don't know how or what I feel about God....I do however believe there is something more to death. The unexplained things that have happened in my life are just that, unexplainable. This is a conversation I have with my husband, he does not believe. I don't know what to believe as far as God is concerned. When I am thinking logically, I think God was invented to control the masses. I do live my life as if there is a God though, but, I am unsure if he really exists. :peace:

I feel that god can't possibly exist by the definitions humans set upon him/it/she(wtf.)

basically, my main problem with people and god is that people seem to believe that god is human-like, which seems like a RIDICULOUS contradiction.

there's no way a human could have conceived of this, and someone who had such insight as god would, wouldn't have the fucking sense to act like a dumbass human.

but yeah, that's pretty much why I'm agnostic and barely believe in god. ghosts are pretty much a joke to me.

Oh hell, who knows Poplars? I mean seriously......who ever really lives after death to tell you of what they may or may not experienced?
My sister has been hospitalized well over a hundred times in her life, been in ICU many times. She "scientifically" died. Meaning, her heart actually stopped and she was revived. She gave the same report that so many throughout the world do.......the light at the end of the tunnel, the feeling of being pulled back......the comfort of wishing to stay there, etc, etc. She didn't make that shit up, I assure you.
I believe you bro.Last year, one of my family members was killed,he was only 27.I went to the funeral and was really touched by what happened to our friend.I started thinking more and more about life after death.I started reading books about it (life after life by Raymond A. moody,Dr.Melvin Morse also have written books about it).I tell you what, these books and testimonies from real people who clinically died made more sens to me than all the other things Ive heard so far.I guess what im trying to say is you can be as skeptical as you want about the subject and call people crazy for believing but just like everyone else you just don't know.:peace:
Ps:btw when i say you,i don't mean you per se,im just talking about others "rational people".

You don't have many answers to the afterlife but you also very much doubt that there is an afterlife.Sounds to me that you actually believe in afterlife...:peace:
