Not sure myself.I do find it hard to believe that theres supposed to be some mighty mystical bearded man called god.
I tend to think we were put here by something....

Not only no, but fuck no.

Given that, I don't have a problem with people practicing a religion as long as it doesn't fuck with the lives of those of us that don't. I've met cool people that follow all kinds of "religions", assholes too, but I can say the same for those that don't practice religion as well.

In my view religion came about as a means of social control, praying on peoples fear of death. By creating a ficticious moral being who we all must please, it introduced a level of order to society. Today, in light of the all the archaeological and DNA evidence that proves we are evolved from primates, it shocks me just how many "modern" humans want to cling to such silly notions of sitting on a fluffy cloud playing a harp while god combs his beard in the background. Goes to show that a large % of us have not quite evolved as well as the rest.

If you have ever, even once, seen a church, you must concede that religion exists. Next.
