Do you get bored of the taste?

Hi all, for the last few weeks i've been doing my first cure and i'm finding that every day my joints are tasting blander and generally less pleasant.

I've been freaking out, checking for mould, worrying about humidity and all the usual things but it dawned on me that i've been smoking this bud for three weeks now, pretty much all the weed i've ever had starts to taste like shit after a few weeks..

Am I just getting bored of the taste? Anyone else experience this?

Mine generally continues to get better. Maybe you are missing something in your drying and curing process. Some people make the mistake of letting it get too dry before they cure. Once that happens you are pretty much screwed without re-introducing moisture.

I think theres a good chance of this though lots of people say it should be dry enough to snap the stems (pretty much where mine was at), they seem to be happy with the results they get

Some people have suggested throwing a few leaves into the jar to rehydrate the buds but they didn't seem to hold the moisture for long, not sure exactly how long youre supposed to keep the leaves in there though.

Theres no mould or mildew, break open a bud and it smells nice but when i burn it i'm not getting that sweetness, just a dry, unsatisfying taste.

Which brings me back to generally getting bored of the taste, like i said it seems to happen to me with all the weed i get

1 of my strains got better with time curing. the one im smoking now is the same but much slower cure.

i know what u mean but its probably because uve been smoking out of it for 3 weeks. i bet if u smoke some other stuff then have a smoke of ur own stuff u will realise the taste more.
