Do you leave your fans on while in the dark cycle?

yes in fact id consider it more important because humidity rises when lights are off and you want that air moved around to stay away from PM and shit like like that.
 
plants breath oxygen at night during there calvin or dark cycle instead of co2 A lack of fresh O2 at night can slow there growth also a dark grow room with little air movement is a good place for fungi to set up shop
 
having a constant source of stress (not too much!) will prove very beneficial to the plants health and robustness over its entire life cycle. be careful that you do not have low humidity levels though or air movement will increase the rate of evaporation faster than the plants rate of transpiration, and will dry out leaf tips or even kill roots if the medium is exposed enough
 
Fans that circulate the air in your room/cab/tent should stay on. If a fan is only used for something like an air-cooled hood, it can go off.
 
ok I don't mean to jack your thread but i was wondering the same thing. if i have fresh air coming in. the door open. could I turn the exhaust on during dark cycles? set it up on a time to help get rid of the smell. since I leave the door open. kinda ghetto closet grow. but its working.
 
they are right when i put mine in 12/12 my humidity jumped, im thinking of taking my cfm fan offf the timer to help throw air out even when the lights are off, the only downside is the noise

What do you consider low humidity?
 
it's relative to temp of course, but bellow 50% during veg with temps higher than 75F will probably start to burn tips...though differences between strains should be accounted.

during flower youll want to maintain aroun 30-40% humidity. the temp is really up to you tho. higher temps (not to exceed 85F) will cause faster growth and looser buds, cooler temps (not to drop bellow 68F) growth is slower and denser.
At this point it doesnt really matter if your tips are burning, just ignore it unless it really start to look like a problem..

your main objective should always be to avoid fluctuations if at all possible...the more consistent the better, and remember: between different variations and strains you will have an incredible range of adaptation.
